SCAM a gentleman of Indian persuasion or cultural heritage that thought I was female. Which is a nice touch, but last time I scratched an itch all my tackle was very much in place. I loved the Virgin Media representation, however I had the feeling iny belly that he was a scamming bastard. Mysteriously the phone call was cut short which I'm rather disappointed by as I was just about to share some colourful medical issues that I've recently heard from my mother. Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked

SCAM - Call from MotorAssist about the accident that I've had in the last year - was news to me

SCAM Variation on the number. I just took a call from 02080798023 - same thing claiming to be from O2 offering 50% discount. I told him scamming people him will catch up with him. He dropped the line. Blocked and reported.

Recorded message that Amazon Prime membership has expired and demands £92 to renew. Never had Prime, so SCAM.

Asking about bank card use

Some depressed and dejected sounding indian fellow saying something about a discounted iphone or some nonsense, as per standard procedure I frustrated his efforts and wasted his time until he hung up.

This number informed me that 2 card transactions had been noted as suspicious: Over £500 with Amazon and an International transfer of £1300. Press 1 or 2.....etc. I cancelled the call and dialled the number and got TS TOURS. Who are they and why are they?

Claiming to be EE feedback call for my mobile. Epic fail on so many levels not least their shitty VOIP. OFCOM need to shut down the routes used by fraudsters not leave it to sites such as this to highlight their scams.

Out so service number, sounded like a Sky con, difficult to understand the man on the line, due to accent.

01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

This number is a number trying to commit fraud, they are scammers they try to tell me my visa has a £900 unauthorized transaction, more reports equals less scams

Answered a call from this number, where the caller, Chris (with a thick Indian accent), claimed to be from O2 and wanted to know how my day was. Since I'm not an O2 customer, I hung up and blocked the number.
