They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. This is a number used by people dealing in so-called trading not recognised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). They use false advertising incl. British celebrities to steal thousands of pounds from UK citizens. They are scammers to put it mildly and not to be trusted!!!
