If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! Supposedly from our Bank- 2 transactions this morning - one from Amazon for £300 and another for £1100 for International Money transfer - suspicious- if you didn’t authorise these press 1 to speak to someone- didn’t- now blocked.
Sneezed at me as I answered. Claimed to be from Vodafone but was quite incoherent. Not convinced they're from Vodafone at all.

I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.
Plan.com - my account manager upgraded my phone for me. Have no issues with this number although I didn't recognize the number initially.
Hung up after ~5 seconds of silence.
