A very non-English sounding person called “Jake” called claiming to be from EE asked me what type of mobile I had - if he were truly from EE he would have had that information already. Hung up!

Called by this no it was someone called Marcus Taylor he said he was from fraud squad in London I called them and they said he did not work there and had serval calls about him and a John Edwards they advised to block the number

Fraud. Will firstly state on an automated voice it’s from HM revenue and they’re going to take action against you. Press 1 to speak to an officer etc.. foreign guy picks up asking how he can help, state they called me? And then they hang up. Absolutely fraud!

Had ring me 2 days in a row. A man with a very strong Indian accent said he was ringing from O2 saying as a loyal O2 customer I qualify for a discount on my O2 monthly bill. When he started asking me to go into messages to see a text he was sending to me I decided it sounded dodgy and hung up. Today I just told them I don't believe they are ringing from O2 and told them to F off before hanging up.

Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Received a text from this number, claiming to be from Evri (the new name for Hermes), saying they'd missed a delivery, and wanted £1.45 for redelivery. I googled Evri and and according to them it's a scam, to get your bank details and Mt your account.
