Scam - offered to come and do free security check and install cameras to elderly resident, he didnt sign anything, they took his information and charged him for the free consultation, and installation of 8 camera (non installed or agreed too). Money was taken from account, and his number was blocked, even address of card left isnt for this company, but a empty lot in Dewsbury, when number called and asked about this elderly resident, they block your number too after using some blue language.Fraud SCAM

Call was at 6.41am. I rang back - not sure if that was wise - there was a mumbled (male) response, something about 'delivery' was all I could make out even though I asked which company. Told them they'd called a wrong number and hung up, feeling uneasy.

This number was given in an email supposedly from Google pixel services. the email claimed I had bought services from Google payable through paypal (£599.99). They appear to want me to call this number. I have bought no such services and I will not be calling this number. I think it is a scam.

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. call was an automated call saying it was from a bank and my account had been compromised - 2 amounts of money taken from sources I do not use. It didn't say which bank of what account was involved just press 1 or 2 depending on my reaction. I did nothing but thought it should be reported as it came up as a local number. This is the second call this week of this nature so everyone should be aware that these nasty people are targeting people some of who may be vunerable.

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.
