Windows and Doors supposedly. Annoying sales call. Hung up and now caller barred.

I've had a call from this number claiming they are from my bank Halifax, i notice the area code is Halifax but i'm not sure if this is a scam call.

SILENT CAL. SAW IT WAS FROM APPLIANCES DIRECT AND RETURNED CALL. PHONE WAS "ANSWERED" TWICE BUT JUST LEFT ME HANGING ON LISTENING TO MUSIC. never SPOKE TO HUMAN

An idiot rang me from this number stating that he could get me refunds for all of any of the loans, credit cards and mortgages that I d ever had during my lifetime. Caller ID said "Tony" but was a PPI company

I have been contacted by a Company called UK Loan Ltd, the foriegn gentleman called Richard explained all the loan details and even gave me a reference number and the number to call them back. He asked for a UKASH voucher for ?100, (this voucher is as he told me was to show that we are able to repay the loan and I would get it back with the money into my account) which I did and gave them the voucher number. Sounded Chinese but couldn't tell a word they were saying. Passed onto several others with similar language problems. Very persistent and carried on when I suggested they were scammers, didn't stop till I put the phone down
