Automated message stating £700 and £900 taken from my account this morning and to press 1 for more information. Hung up and contacted banks instead. No transactions made. SCAM

Automated message informing me I’d placed an order online with Amazon for an iPhone 13.Press 1 to get through to Customer Services! Asian male attempted to speak me through the AMAZON SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR AMAZON DETAILS! NOTHING! JUST HANG UP! If you have gave them the details, call your bank STRAIGHT AWAY and put a hold on your account and explain you’ve been a victim to an AMAZON SCAM! Then change your Amazon username and password. NEVER GIVE DETAILS!

This number is fishing for a live person, to scam you out of your well earned money. Do not give them the time or day.

I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. Sounded like an Indian call centre. The lady claimed to be from "Medical Health Services" telling me I could have some kind of personal alarm system because I was a senior citizen over the age of 60. When I told them I wasn't over 60 they said goodbye and hung up. I suspect some kind of scam call.

Just had a call from this number on my house phone. Lots of noise in the background but no one answered and they put the phone down. Called the number back and number is not recognized, so obviously a scam.

I believe this to be a scam. Saying fraudulant transactions on your bank account plus international withdrawal. Ask you to press options. This number is now blocked.

SPAM missed the call, rang them, all I got was music playing so presuming it was someone wanting to con me out of my money

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?
