Like other reviewer, I had the same call today from a lady with a very strong accent and could not understand a word she was saying apart from hearing 02. Told her I wasn't with 02, she said you are, (I think). Put the phone down and blocked it. Does make me laugh when these spammers try to tell you, you have a product when you don't, do they really think we are that stupid!!

Someone just called from this no. claiming to be from Amazon. They were female with a strong Indian accent. Said someone had tried purchasing a Canon camera on my account last night in Germany. Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.

Text message claiming to be Santander, claiming that there is some suspicious payment attempts on your current account. Said they’d attempt to call shortly ti talk to you about it in on a number, it was like the banks number, its not the actual banks number its different by 1 digit.

This was a call from a person saying they were from Virgin Media reporting that our internet had been hacked on numerous occasions to cut a long story short I was asked to download the TeamViewer App onto my iPad so they could “put everything right” they were very convincing and I foolishly parted with some money before my switched on son overheard me and hung up the call, I have deleted the app and contacted by bank to report the “Scam” I wanted to forewarn everyone if they receive a call hang up immediate
