Answered this tonight after repeated calls, its a PC scam where they get you to look at your event viewer then try to convince you to download software so they can take over your computer.. DO NOT ANSWER. Or... If you do, do what I did, keep them on the phone for 10 mins then tell them you know its a scam!
Called twice asking for a specific somebody, both very polite when told wrong number and apologised.
Computer generated recorded message claiming to be an agent (Officer Dennis Colley) from HMRC threatening if that I or my solicitor do not call back then I will face the legal consequences. Did not call back but be very careful as HMRC would not contact you this way.
Stop wasting my time I have not had an accident.

SPAM Don't answer & block. This way my most recent call from a raft of UK geographic numbers purportedly calling on behalf of Carphone Warehouse. As per my last similar call I politely requested to be removed from their database, to which the caller told me to shut up and F**k-off then hung up. Best avoided

SCAM An automated voice was saying that I've just purchased iPhone and the amount of over £1000 will be deducted from the card associated with my personal Amazon account, it asked me to choose the option to confirm the transaction or speak to an adviser. I have logged into my Amazon account, there is no such order placed. I also have checked my bank account, no pending transactions. I haven't received any notification from the bank about activities on my account.

Still getting the same PPI calls again from these morons once again. These are the same PPI cold callers, and I still play I play along with them with them when I answer the phone. An Indian voice, named James !, confirmed my details claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asked if I was still getting unwanted calls. I confirmed that I still get these and he informed me that I needed to update my details with them as it was about to expire. He then asked if I paid by direct debit - at this point I realised this to be a scam and ended the call.
A couple of times a day, I have never had a ny dealings with this company.
