I've received 4 calls from this number by now. Every time they say they are calling in regard to me being involved in a car accident that wasn't my fault, and wants to know the details of the accident. Today I lost it, because after having asked them to remove my number from their records three times already, and stil get these phone calls, I did get a little bit annoyed. called me 9 times in different numbers i keep blocking them
I was called from this number, claiming there is something wrong with my internet connection and saying that if I didn't answer his questions he would cut me off from BT who he said is providing my access. Very insistent, wouldn't give me details how he came to have my number but didn't know my name! Yes, ridiculous but maybe someone else would believe him. It sounded like a call centre in the background, definitely fraudulent.
