I ve had numerous calls(>25)claiming to be from"Talk Talk". Most calls are a few sec s of silence,followed by automated voice saying "Thank You" & call ends. Others advise choosing keypad options;I ve not tried,in case it s a premium rate/International call back scam. Sometimes caller speaks in broken English,citing:"My Talk Talk account"as reason for call. Repeated requests to remove my number, in compliance with Data Protection Act are ignored.

08000319178 caller called me stating i won a holiday, my own apartment up to 6 people, that i won, all flighrs are paid, all i got to do is have spending money .... hmmm whats wrong with that .... now that i have seen the address and the location of the address, i believe this could be an agent for a charity that provides work for the blind. they then sell the products they make and pack via calls and delivery(very good stuff!)so i think it is legit. further i dont think they engage in cold calls only to people who have dealt with them before.

these people call and say you owe councel tax arears,they give no details bar the amount and give you a acount number and sorting code to pay money into. I dont know if it is lagit or not,it is very suspect and im trying to find out about them.

Calls twice a day - nobody there when I answer

introduced himself as from TPS, Telephone protection service and then some scam about attaching a box to line to stop nuisance calls which they would charge 50p a week for for 3 years.Awful that they are masquerading as Telephone Preference Service. Why have the police not stopped this obvious fraud, vulnerable and elderly will definitely be taken in by someone saying they are from TPS,i was convinced at first?

Yes this is a children s brain damage charity and I have had dealings with them in the past, however received 2 calls from them today 1st one was just heavy breathing left on answer phone? Second call wasn t answered and no message left, shall be having strong words if they phone again.

Rang at 13.40 on a weekday - only been at this address 6 months and get more nuisance calls than genuine ones. Thanks to this site I now flag them up as such on the handset so I don t answer them, and gradually they stop trying.
