Heavily accented guy called claiming to be from First Nation bank with regard to PPI claim to the value of ?3000. Apparently they need to take commission (no win no fee) of ?200, but can only take this in the form of Google Play cards... (As if!) Claimed that they were acting within a judgement from the county court of London & therefore had limited time - they wanted to deliver cash / cheque to me today or tomorrow, but couldn t extend to next week. Scammers have found yet another number to use. This one told me that the cover on my washing machine had expired - I have no such insurance, warranty or guarantee. Caller had my name and address despite being registered with TPS. Another crook and clearly a scam.

A woman offered me a job in customer service field and told me that her colleague will contact me regarding that role by email, which did not happen. I think it is not a recruitment agency. I was told to check spam for the email which has not been received. Why normal email would go to the spam???

SCAM Call centre. Numerous calls to say he (Foreign accent called “Oliver”) works for government to claim back fees overcharged. Demanded £130 for a Pay Sure (credit) card for me to pay tax man his cut! Refused to do it. Now saying charging for my cancellation!! I have not agreed to anything so told him “what to do!” and put phone down. They phoned straight back but I ignored it! (Total 6 phone calls in 7 days!!! ) SCAM

At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.
