Rang this morning and warned me that one of our computers was generating spam emails in my name. Mike Reed gave me a 32 digit number which he claimed was a Microsoft licence number for all our computers on our network. Polite British accented woman responded, informing me she was from some hearing company - she knew my name and asked me if I had ever worked in an industry that involved loud noise. Just been called by this number. Very unprofessional asking if I have life insurance with Aviva or Legal and Genreal. Claimed to be from Aviva, but couldn t tell me why he was asking. Hung up on him.

These people will not take no for an answer. Re. my last post 4 days ago they still insisted on ringing again and were told in no certain terms to stop ringing last time and yet...

My record will show that I have been alert through two telephone contacts from my sheltered housing flat in ensuring that my bills are timeously paid with appropriate assurances. I, no-one I know, and no-one in their right mind would answer an unknown number. After searching through hospital numbers for fear it might be a dear friend trying to get in touch I found tonight the 10 or more calls came from my energy supplier with whom prior arrangements were amicably in place. Quantitatively this is harassment:
