American accent male stating they are calling from the financial conduct authority and have suspicious transactions on one of my accounts. “Press 1 to talk to a person about this” Generic auto call, no specific info sounds like a scam possibly but I ended the call without doing anything.

I told her Virgin had already informed me they would be carrying out essential works on the network in my area which could interrupt my services (which they are). Automated call; supposedly from bank, but no name of bank mentioned. Two allegedly suspicious transactions mentioned. followed by a press-button menu. When I called my genuine bank it was confirmed there were no suspect transactions.

SCAM - Claiming I ordered an iPhone 13 through Amazon, decided to play along. He requested that I put him on speaker phone so he could run through filling a form in. Asked for him to send it through email, he said I (as in myself) am not authorised for email, whatever that means. I queried again that I assume I will be notified through email, and for some reason continued to state I am not authorised. I can't believe the guy actually thought I would enter a random URL in to fill in a form, must be nuts!

I just recevied a call from this phone, in Spanish (I am in Spain) from a slavik woman who said she wanted to pay me back something from a company or similar I do not even know. So I told here to call me from UK to Spain and this issues sounds like fraud.
Claimed to be from microsoft about hackers having access to my details. I am very cautious so decided to see if anyone else had similar calls
