pretended to me that i had won an electric toothbrush i stupidly supplied some bank details for postage supposedly of 3 then they set up a recurring direct debit and took a further 2499 without my permission so i hurredly blocked them and changed my CC i am still awaiting reimbursment from my bank
Received text claiming to be about my unsuccessful Evri delivery and to follow the link to schedule a new delivery slot. Never used Evri in my life. Smart scam - everyone is busy this time of year and can perhaps forget what packages they’re waiting to be delivered.

Claimed to be Sky telling me about updates on Sky remote voice control and asked me to confirm name and address which I did as they could get it from any number of places so its no secret Told them I was not interested in updates as I dont use voice control They did not ask for any password or any other secure data and then ended the call
02476019903 Sounded like call centre. Woman with non-English accent said she was calling from Virgin Media about my slow broadband. I told her Virgin had already informed me they would be carrying out essential works on the network in my area which could interrupt my services (which they are). Scam number trying to get details from people after sending a fraudulent PayPal money request. They get your phone number at least which they can connect to the phone number you call them on and your name which enables them to clone your identity.

The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. Caller with an Asian accent said he was from o2 and I had been selected to have a 50% discount on my tariff. I have has these calls before and seemed to be an obvious scam, so I briefly went along… The caller said I would receive an email from o2 but first I would have to pass security and he would send me 2 links with questions. Told him he was a scammer and hung up. Reported call & number to the ICO
