It calls me and told me that i was involve in a fraum with hmrc this number is a scam and people behind it should be arrested.
received a call from this number about an accident i was involved in - told them i havent been involved in an accident they then asked if someone at my address had been involved...
Answered call got 10 seconds of silence then was disconnected.
Missed and when trying to call back advised I have dialled an incorrect number??

Just had a call to my landline from this number, saying it was a survey about loft installation and asking me to confirm a few details , which I refused to do, and then he said its nothing to worry about, I said I wasn't worried about anything otherwise it would be me ringing up someone, not them ringing me. I let him babble on a bit more and then said let me stop you there, it's my Husband you need to talk to not me and he's not in, so he just hung up. I would say this was a SCAM.

I said I would not continue if they would not identify themselves @nd they terminated call. Asian man was calling. Don?t think they targeted her because of her age. Claiming to be BT, saying getting reports that my router/internet speed is not as it should be. Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.

Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I ve no doubt they will phone again but forewarned is forearmed.
This call was supposed to be from Amazon telling me I had ordered something for 399 pounds.I get these calls nearly every day why don t the police get after these scammers.
