Indian man with bad English claiming he was from Windows security, he said my IP address was causing problems told me to write a number down so played along then he said my surname I then asked who is this person he then said my name and address I said I do not know this and that is not me he then hung up. not suer who he got the details from but will report it.

This is a fraudulent number claiming to give upgrades on EE customers.

This number called me and did not leave a message when I didn't answer. Unknown number, international call, not expecting any calls from the UK. Likely a scammer. Number is currently being monitored by this site as it is making numerous calls and caution is advised.

You might be receiving the morning tea from this idiot but it's more than likely he is in your phone and masking what he is really doing reading your messages. He will come across as friendly by send scripture quotes from the bible or memes BUT make no mistake this clown is up to no good.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Fraud Called today and they had hacked my mobile accounts, changed account names, passwords, mothers maiden name etc. Called O2 who confirmed hacking. Avoid!!! SCAM

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

Had a call which I answered but no-one was there. Rang back and got recorded message stating that number was invalid. Almost certainly dodgy.

Automated message claiming to be from Amazon Prime about charging my renewal to a Visa credit card. Asked me to press 1 or 2 for customer services. I hung up and checked my Amazon account. My subscription doesn't expire until July and I don't have a Visa card registered with Amazon. Clearly a scam.

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.
