Asian sounding girl, telling me her name is Karen, she's calling from Domestic blah blah (Other people have said this is a scam call supposedly from Domestic & General, about domestic appliance insurance) I quoted a few random elements from the Periodic Table at her, and she ended the call. Result!

Bloke was very friendly and implied he was from BT and TPS. said there had been a large number of unsolicited calls in the area and offered a service to stop them. Hung up when I pressed him about price and told him I wouldn t pay. Scarily convincing to vulnerable people!

Predictive dialler ... rang me many times, each time a silent call that lasted about 5 minutes before hanging up. When I FINALLY got a human, they gave me grief/threats about not completing the census. Then they tried to get me to fill out the form over the phone. Since it was an inbound call and I had no way to verify who they were I told then to bugger off... they didn't like that. They're still harassing me so I've blocked them.

Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Still getting the same PPI calls again from these morons once again. These are the same PPI cold callers, and I still play I play along with them with them when I answer the phone.
