Asian caller claiming to be from the carphone warehouse company (yeah right), about an exciting offer and he could give me the most up-to-date phone. I told him that I don't use mobile phones and just stayed quiet, he hung up about 2 minutes later. What an idiot, the muppet was talking to me on a mobile phone. Now blocked ????

This appeared to be a local number - but when answered I heard a recorded message from 'Amazon Prime' regarding my non existent subscription - so this number is a scam line

I'm more and more convinced it is a scam. I was called this morning, by an automated voice, that there is a proceeding against me because I didn't pay my taxes, and if I want to avoid further consequences (including jail!), I should press 1. Pulled over, pressed 1, a female voice greeted me and asked for personal data. I didn't give any, and asked if there is a number I can call them back on. She said she would call me back later instead. Once home, checekd with HMRC, no issues with my status or taxes.

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

This phone number belong to Russian Girl who is a Fraud and She is currently being hunted by police due to Substance smuggling, Women Trafficking. She is often getting close to people to get their attention and easy money. After that she will disappear without trace. Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.

This is my personal mobile number and has been spoofed. So it's definitely a scam. Don't fall for whatever they are offering you, it won't end well.

SCAM Automated message allegedly from "Bank Authorisation Department" re two claimed charges on my Mastercard account of £300 via Amazon AND £1100 from a "gambling site in California", invitation to press 1 to take some action over the charge and press 2 to speak to someone. Too stupid to expect me to deal with two separate transactions in one button press, ALSO I had had another automated call, not sure who they said was calling, but it was from a Dutch number 0031203692139 five minutes
