They called me 3 times today saying they are from People's Opinion. They knew my name, address etc. They then told me that they weren't selling, but carrying out a survey on the electrical appliances I have in my home. They wanted me to confirm my details which I refused to do. I wasn't going to tell them where I live, all of my personal details and what I have in my home in case a couple of weeks later I'm burgled!

Keep ringing. I finally answered to ppi crap. Ask how they got my number, media Web, told her not to ring again. She just carried on talking so I hung up.

Claimed to be from Oxford and wanted to supply an alert for a medical condition. Called on the FAX line and did not ask to speak to anyone by name so this was clearly a scam call.

Number may indicate Reading as the location, but due to the endless daily calls from people with foreign accents using VoiP I very much doubt that is where they are calling from! Claim to be from Yell but that is as far as he managed to get before I hung u
