After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. It had apparently been opened accidentally when I had clicked on an advertising link. Isn't that just too good to be true?

A Total Scam: 02075467402 - They reckon that they were HM Revenue, calling about my taxes. I needed to press 1 to speak to someone. If I Do Not. A WARRANTwould be issued for my Arrest. It really is LAUGHABLE but Sad, They are trying to put Fear into people who are going through a terrible time in this Covid Lockdown period. They need to REMEMBER that they also have a Mother, Family because KARMA Springs to Mind. The caller was from Northern Ireland.

I had a call from this number where a somewhat threatening female voice informed me that criminal charges were about to be brought against me. I'm a 74 year old female who, while maybe not quite fitting the description of an angel, has not committed any crimes, heinous or otherwise. Were I the type who was easily intimidated I might have pressed 1 to see further details but luckily I'm not so I didn't. I'd love to punch this so and so right in the kisser but that WOULD be criminal - but deserved!!

I have just called it back on my work land line (using 141), and received a message saying I was called today by their "Events Team", who will call me back! Had a call today asking for my husband who passed away in may, he said oh yes I remember when we spoke he was ill, then said it was me that had been in touch with them regarding new windows, told him no as I already have new ones and I have a local builder that does anything I want done.
