This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Apparently from BT I answered the call for my gran. He had an Indian accent and I explained that it was an elderly ladies number and to remove it from his calling list . His response was 'it will cost you' to which I replied I don't think so! He said 'yes it will it will cost you a date with me ! :O brr yuk ! Number now blocked !!!!!

SCAM Fortunately, I have TruCaller home phone so pushed it straight to the "waiting" queue and as they didn't leave a message or say who was calling did not route through to the actaual phone ring. I already had this number blocked on my Mobile and in Malwarebytes as it claimed to be from BT saying there was a problem with my broadband... when I mentioned that I worked for BT as a fault engineer they immediately hung up :)
