Hi, just had a call from an Asian bloke who said my Internet connection had wires crossed in my house and its causing a network problem. He claimed to be BT. I didn't tell him that BT don't run the network it's Open Reach. Also didn't tell him I'm not a BT customer. I ended the call.

My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call. It asked to preess 1 to delete or 2 to connect to an operative. I hung up

Fraudulent number, block then report to Action Fraud.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. 100 a scam The caller was a very poor speaker of English who went through a list of questions as though it was some manner of survey then in order to confirm my thank you gift for taking part in the survey the caller asked me to visit a website and download software called Teamviewer which is software they can use to remote control your computer

SCAM: Caller explained someone in Reading had created a fake Amazon account my name, & wanting to buy an iphone 12 which would cost me £700. They didn't think I had ordered it and so wanted to know if I was accepting the order or not. I said I was not giving anything out over the phone wother than I hadn't ordered the phone. He started giving instruction for me to access my laptop. He swore at me when I said I wasn't going to help and he hung up

Received a call from this number this morning, i let it go to answering machine ( landline) and no message was left, then called beeped & ended. Very suspicious call I felt.

Another Amazon scam. Apparently £300 Amazon and over £1k international spending.

Recorded female voice with English accent saying my Mastercard had been used to make payments of hundreds of pounds. I closed call without saying anything. No bank would contact you in this way.

SCAM tells me my Apple Pay has been deactivated…said visit the link immediately. There nothing wrong with my Apple Pay .

Male with Indian accent called claiming to be from EE offering me a cheap contract. Told him EE have my email address, to email me and then he said only the marketing department will have that...Told him I don't agree to just anyone claiming to be from EE to get money out of me for a contract I can't see. Then I put the phone down on him

SPAM. 07858191365 Harassing caller. Sick twisted individual made horrible comments, but clearly not that bright since they forgot to withhold their number. Phoned both my numbers to do so.
