Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. This call was offensive. Saying from Fraud Squad and unless I entered 1 (one) a warrant would be issued for my arrest. It was loud and gruff. I hung up, some might feel threatened and fall for it.

Ubiquitous Indian call centre scam/spam call (you'd think they'd have bigger things to concern themselves with at the mo).
Seem to have now blocked 0843 980 12xx where xx so far is anywhere between 01 to 51 - 47 just the latest. Last time i answered it from one of these numbers there was nobody there. Wonder if phone numbers of the call centre staff are also on their autocall list.
