Asked for me by name required about a ppi claim. They knew my address.They had to ask me which bank it was thru. And very stupidly I gave him my date of birth. If nothing else they are fishing for information to make an identity theft from unsuspecting people.

I am a few days late with a payment to Very so the credit company (shop direct) repeatedly phone my home and mobile. They still ring even though I ve explained the situation and paid half the monthly amount and have agreed to pay the other half in a weeks time. I just don t answer the phone now.

Someone called me from this number and asked me if I was "my own name". I stupidly confirmed it and then confirmed my email address. They started telling me about an iPad that I had won. <> <> <> Then followed a lot of swearing on my part before they hung up. Next time, if someone asks who I am, I ll ask who they are before hanging up.

Reports on other sites suggest it s SSE pushing for smart meter installation.

Keep telling my terminally ill father that he rung them a year ago about investments my father does not recall this and my father would of asked my best friend for investment advice this is the fourth Time they ve rung us. I am abroad, I have had calls from this +44 20 7097 0859, two or three times a day for the last two days. NO message and it when I did answer it seemed to cut off. On calling it, its GLOBAL something and seems like RUBBISH and does not really connect. Generally not good.

Refused to say who he was or what company he was from or why he was calling - just wanted to know my name. Very dodgy.

Scammer/ Car Crash pusher from London

Twice this number called me. The second time immediately after I cancelled the first call. I refuse to answer any unknown numbers and I have not given whom ever they are my number or given permission to anyone else to do so. Seriously thinking about changing my number but I doubt that will solve these unwanted calls.
