Calls and when the phone is answered, the phone hangs up. Returned the call, the phone rang but no one answers!

SCAM gave a false name etc reported to fraud online they say amazon and others like covid and sending money abroad as soon as i said i will get my daighter who is a police officer they soon put the phone down

Stated they were from tge local housing association and they were running a project to bring all tenners properties up to spec. He wanted to get someone there to conduct repairs. SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.

Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Kindly visit EnableYourIDUser.com to see more information on how to continue using your apple wallet." This number (07587031637) texted me this message. "SANTANDER: Your one time passcode is 00684. If you did not request a code, please call us on 03300435407" 1. I did not request a one time pin 2 I don't have Santander 3. The number I was asked to ring is not a Santander num. Infact, it is for a business called...CMA Somerset in Yeovil. The business may be a front for this fraud scheme. Be vigilant. Very odd.

Claimed to be my asking for £600. SCAMMER!!!!

Pretending to call on behalf of the DVLA. Wanting to know if I owned a diesel car in return for compensation. I didnt confirm. Knew my first name. Got aggressive and refused to remove my details from the database. Threatened me with more calls. Blocked and reported.

SCAM This number looks as if it was local to me, but it was not. Strongly accented lady said she was from Virgin Media about the "poor performance of the internet connection". I told her I knew it was a hoax call and hung up.
