Called purporting to be from EE and asked about renewal and if I'd like a free phone upgrade. Given that the phone in question is on a business contract and recently upgraded, I would deem this to be a scam. The caller hung up very quickly once I said I didn't want an upgrade.
Apparently I have a returned letter from HMRC and they are pursuing legal proceedings… don’t think so !

Alarm bells are ringing ... what an amateur setup. Call leads to a lesser used number from a geographical location (Bolton). Calls blocked. 024 7630 5294 - This number belongs to furinncattery.co.uk but it has been "hijacked" by some cons pretending they are from Vodaphone. Hysterically, when I said I am not with Vodaphone, the person on the other end asked which company I was with and tried to engage in conversation with me! Heavy Asian accent. I just ended the call and haveblocked the number (as I am not expecting a call from the cattery either!)

Call came from Clear Health regarding a enquiry i made on line about Spire Medical Insurance
This call came in on my landline, if I don't recognise the number I let the answerphone pick up. A recording told me that my Internet was going to be switched off and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is an obvious scam as they didn't mention the name of my ISP. They would only communicate be email. People would panic if they received this and possibly get caught out.

Called saying they're from Carphone Warehouse, offering me an iphone. Thought I'd play along for a bit instead of hanging up. Asked where they're based so, so I could see if they're far from me. They hung up immediately. Ah well, so much for my game.

I lost all my savings to CM Trading. I invested 41,000 and they refused to allow me to withdraw both my initial deposit and accrued interest. I have reached out to a recovery expert spyhacktech @ gmail com to help me recover the money back from them and it is really progressing. I have been able to recover over 15,000 and I hope I will get the rest of the money in a few days.

Answered to an automated voice machine saying my name but pronounced it wrong. Pressed the option to speak to an agent. The guy did not jntroduced himself and went straight to asking for my card details.
