SCAM Spoke to a person who said someone has purchased something from my Amazon account and I had not replied to their emails. I said I have not had any emails and will check and hung up the phone. I checked my Amazon account on line and no one has purchased anything from my account,
Automated call that cuts off after few seconds.
A caller with a foreign accent just called me on 07156917495 to say that my Amazon account is being charged with an amount of £49. As I don't have an Amazon account I told him so and rang off.
Looks like this is a Scam number - we will disconnect your internet. Just hang up and do not press any response keys.

Frequently have these calls from Asian sounding men and women who become quite aggressive when I ask why they are ringing, told them we have registered with the TPS and to take our number off their list but to no avail. This time I told them know one of that name at this address and they just asked if I was sure. Will be interesting to see if we get any more! Why hasn t someone tracked this number down and charged them with harassment calls?

This sod rang me at about 7.30 to night. I live in Edinburgh, and I thought it was a taxi company (there is a taxi company in Edinburgh, whose number starts 0131-777), but the bloke, with a very pronounced Asian/Indian accent said that he wanted to talk to my wife to discuss her account with them.
