An absolute scam they said they are from BAT yet say they got information from public records?????? Needs shutting down and jail operatives .needless to say they got nothing from me. SCAM / SPAM Called this morning, and said his name is David, with a strong Indian accent. Claimed to be from my internet provider (didn't know who that was, when asked), but claimed to know that I was not getting the internet speed I should. Told him my internet was fine, thank you, whereupon he became agitated and said I had to listen to him or I would be cut off. Hung up.
Automated call, when I answered it simply said 'Goodbye' and rang off. I'm guessing that no call centre operative was available at that moment to handle a call made by automated software. Or it noticed a TPS opt out.
