Missed call from this number - when I rang back it was a recorded message saying "This number is for sale for information call 070 4000 1000"
Answer call - no-one speaks then they put the phone down! could be auto dialler. Called them back- very rude when I didnt want to sell my business then they hung up!

Call center. A delay when answering the call and not a very good line either. Claims to be Sky. Very annoying. Phoned 7 times so far today, starting at 8:30 am.
HRMC fraud in order to get payment from you
When I answered the call, the woman at the other end mentioned a company (I can't remember their name), they told me "I've been informed that you were involved in an accident that wasn't your fault. Is that right?" Clearly phishing. I asked "Who informed you?" and was put on hold. I was tempted to see what would happen next but decided to hang up.

SCAM Male called at 10.30am 22/2/21. Stated he was from Domestic Appliance Care. Not Domestic and General. We have a policy with D&G and this man gave details of our appliances we have covered. The call is not from HMRC, it is from fraudsters who are looking to commit fraud against you. HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT ENGAGE.
Claims to be calling from Virgin Media, when challenged (I'm on TPS, I'm not in a Virgin cable area, etc) they hang up. Same outfit call three or four times a day, always from a different spoofed number.
