Didn't recognise the number so let it go to answerphone no message left so I can only surmise it's someone trying to sell something as otherwise they would have left a message.
Strange voice mail message didn’t make sense
Apparently from O2. The woman had a very strong asian accent did not even know my name , so I do not think that the call was a legit on.
Called but left no message. On searching the number on other sites l see it marked as suspicious/ spam call. Blocked it now.

SCAM: Caller explained someone in Reading had created a fake Amazon account my name, & wanting to buy an iphone 12 which would cost me £700. They didn't think I had ordered it and so wanted to know if I was accepting the order or not. I said I was not giving anything out over the phone wother than I hadn't ordered the phone. He started giving instruction for me to access my laptop. He swore at me when I said I wasn't going to help and he hung up

Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. Second message through WhatsApp within 2 hours different numbers but both from same location just north of blackburn message just says hello, probably e expecting a reply asking who is messaging ,Dont answer just block number and report, most probably some sort of scam trying to get your info
texted me this morning saying 'hi' but nothing else. supposedly a 'business account' on whatsapp but sent unsolicited message? blocked it and received exact same message from different number j 2 hrs later. idk if it's a scam but it's annoying and weird.

Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc
