certain this is scam - sounded real for about 30 seconds - quizzing about my energy usage - but when I asked how he knew the usage he just hung up i.e. this was not a call from my supplier

This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...

This was a very frightning scam call, saying that amounts of something like £300 and £1100 had been debited to my card - they didn't say which - and to ring a certain number etc etc Dangerous and number now blocked.

SCAM Apparently the bank wanted to talk to my nan about her bank cards, she hung up on these scammers.

I was called from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. The number that appeared initially on my telephone was not the same as this one. This is clearly a scam.

Calling from a call center called 'Credit Investigation Department'

SCAM trying to sell washing machine cover, didn't know any details about my washer etc and didn't take any, but yet wanted my bank details for direct debit. I've also had my washer for some time not just two years. The call wasn't right, he was friendly but pushy

Obviously scam as automated call about two cards with requests for large amounts of money wanting to be taken out of my cards.

SPAM - answered call and it was a recorded message from a lady with an American accent saying "Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs" - I just hung up

I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?
