Recorded message saying bank card had been fraudulently used for Amazon payment.

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

This is a scam. Constantly calling my mobile. I have blocked the number three times now but still manages to call to my phone with the same number? Answered twice and it disconnected instantly and when you call it back, the line tells you that this isn't an actual number, it's 'unrecognised'!

The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.
