I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. Text Message; claiming I was due a Tax refund and to download a form via a link on said text message. Three suspicious things here 1, it came via text 2, it was a mobile phone number and 3, the Tax office have not got my mobile number.

Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". Received an email from ' PAYPAL' about a fruadulent activity of £899.99 I contacted the above number and they sent me a 6 digit security number to my mobile and also told me my last 4 digits on my card !!! All seemed very legit..........UNTIL he told me he needed my full card number to put a stop on a further 12 transactions !!! I rejected his request which he seemed to start getting annoyed and agitated !! THIS SEEMS A VERY PROFESSIONAL SCAM DO NOT REPLY TO THEM .
