Someone who rang me without warning who I have never called before and was incredibly aggressive and swore at me
After saying "hello" a few times I eventually had a foreign sounding woman ask if I was Mrs Choo. I hung up immediately as we are always getting calls starting this way; usually they show on our display as International, but this is the first time we have had one from a UK number. With the "international" calls they always hang up whether I answer YES or No to if I am Mrs Choo. So I ve no idea why they are calling.

At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.

SCAM Said they’re from carphone warehouse. Offered latest handset, unlimited calls & texts, incliding international plus 30gb internet for £40per month, said they would cancel my current contract for me transfer my number over and cover all cancellation fees. I haven't answered the phone to this number because I don't know who it might be, probably a cold caller again. These guys are a waste of space!, I have an answering machine to monitor my calls. Automated message apparently from HMRC saying that a fraud investigation had been opened relating to me. If I did not choose option 1 a warrant would be issued. Sounds like a scam to me.
