"Investing advice" (? seemed really shady to me), caller wanted me to go to a website (edufintech.org or something like that) and wouldn't tell me what was the point of his call. Had to hang up with the caller still talking (wouldn't take a polite "thanks, but no thanks and have a nice day." = typical aggressive telemarketing?).

(I do not say anything when answering unknown numbers just to see if it is a robot messenging call). When questioned about what company he was representing, the man purported to be an energy adviser from the Insulation Advice Line. I asked him if he could provide his company number. He replied 'No'. He was rude and talked over me. The threat of reporting him because of TPS violation did not phase him.

Financial services sales call.
A lady from Homespace Southampton called. Asked if I had a garden room or conservatory. I replied I m in a second floor flat and have neither. She then asked about my boiler. At this point I said the company couldn t help me and put the phone down. A minute later she was back on the phone saying she would only take on minute of my time and asked about my boiler again. I said I had storage heaters and was then asked if my boiler was over 8 years old. I got very angry and slammed the phone down.
