Said he was doing a survey about energy, said that i lived in one on the highest energy use areas in the country and local energy providers want to understand why. I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. I repeated I was not prepared to disclose any information about me or my property to someone on the phone I did not know. He was polite and hung up. I did feel it was leading to a scam call

Fraud - claiming a fraudulent payment of £700 to Amazon

Calling on personal cell number about 'IT services' and domains I have registered - through my business. Challenged them on ignoring TPS, and fact that they have obtained data illegally since all domain registration detail is now 'redacted' - caller hung up. Sounded like a VOIP line, big call centre by the level of noise in the background and most likely Indian sub-continent from accent of caller.

Guy contacted me on Grinder - a gay dating app; and pushes you to register in a shady crypto website. He is very insistent, for days, sending messages, etc. I checked the reputation of the site he was recommending: coinup, and realized it was a scam.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. I stopped him and asked again what company he was calling from. He then hung up! Clearly a poorly thought-out scam call!

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.
