Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.

Apparently someone from "credit investigation" saying I have "several debts" but that they know "I'm paying them off" and attempted to get more information from me. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.

Emmisions advice team, wanted me to enter contract to reclaim compensation for my diesel BMW. Wanted me to agree contract over the phone and text then said they'd send me details and I'd have 14 days to cancel the contract, when I asked for the contract in writing by email first before agreeing to anything she got sh1tty and hung up.

SCAM Rude guy called my Irish mobile number. Knew my forename. Wouldn't say where he was calling from. When I asked where he'd gotten the number from, he said I'd "opted in to receive calls from the company", which was bullshit. Selling some sort of finance/crypto scam. He "forgot" his company name...

SCAM - This is a large scammy marketing company that effectively sells leads to other companies but they are either fake leads or they sell the same leads to literally hundreds of companies. They use tons of VOIP numbers to run this scam and how it works is they sign you up to paying for these leads at say £50 or £100 per lead and of course you will never actually get it. Its a scam I receive a dubious voicemail from this number "report these transactions" then a few seconds silence then "Thank you for calling" I rang the number to see if they were pretending to be my bank but I got put through to a locksmith based in Bournemouth to which I explained my reason for calling and they replied that it was probably a scam and if they call me again to ignore it. message asking me to whatsapp me, looks like recruitment but doesn't seem genuine at all

the number called, when I answered a recorded message advised there was suspicious activity on my account, press 1 to let the payments go through and press 2 to speak to customer service. I hung up! I recalled the number from another telephone and got through to Tesco mobile answerphone. FRAUD!

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.
