Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. SCAM Claimed to be from Currys / PC World offered an iPhone 13 Pro Max for £35 per month unlimited calls, data and texts. I asked why it was so cheap and they said it was a limited, local promotion not available online or instore. I asked for more details and they said they would email them to me. Got a call from a pleasant girl saying she was from "Energy Rescue" at EuroCentral in Motherwell. I took control of the call with lots of chit chat, asking how her day was, how many calls has she made, what was the company phone number, what was their address, had she been working long today etc. etc. etc. I now do this with all calls and it drives them nuts. I stay calm and happy and in fact I occasionally get comments that I m wasting THEIR time!! So whenever you receive a call be pleasant, ask

Tried to call back the number but it is constantly rigning engaged with cut-off. Female voice on original call spoke of sex trafficking in Amsterdam.
Believe this is a scam, caller said from Amazon to activate Amazon Prime for £79.99 . HANG UP, asks for access to your computer.
It is a Natwest number as I spoke to a lady who works in my local branch. Only problem is when you call back it goes to a central team

Caller (Tom) says a cheque for £3100 due, and something about a cancellation call relating to an Abbey (?) bank account. Calling my elderly father s number. I believe this to be a scam. Fortunately my father isn t able to return the call.

This number called me onto my Australian mobile phone questioning my pension on when I used to live in the UK. They knew my name and that I moved to Australia in recent years. They asked whether I was interested to manage my pension with them. Then they asked whether I was interested in buying a house and that they would manage my mortgage for me. It was a lady with an old bitch Karen voice. I wish them jail for eternity. Someone is using this number to fuck people over. Go and get a job scumbags.
