Insulation. They claim it's a survey, but you know it's a scam. Silence on line for several seconds. (I do not say anything when answering unknown numbers just to see if it is a robot messenging call). When questioned about what company he was representing, the man purported to be an energy adviser from the Insulation Advice Line. I asked him if he could provide his company number. He replied 'No'. He was rude and talked over me. The threat of reporting him because of TPS violation did not phase him.

yes, as per all the other comments, this is Addenbrookes appt automated reminder. Rang my home and mobile several times but of course, no message. I have been waiting for an appointment time and date to come through and GP has chased on several occasions. The message stated it was a reminder that I had an appointment on (date and time given and Department). Constantly calling my husband who is getting terrible distressed. Insisting that he had phoned them regarding PPI claim which they were handling on his behalf. He hadn t. Requested they removed his number but still insisting he called them. Double checked his outgoing calls - hadn t rang them but they won t take no for an answer. Had to hand up on them as they wouldn t go away.

Just received a call from these chimps at 12.08 pm lunchtime, it even had a picture of the person calling, what a nerve. I use Mr. Number and True Contact on my mobile, the best 2 apps that I ve installed on my mobile, they warn you that it s a spam number calling and if possible, the name, whereabouts and if possible, the nature of the call and if it s suspected spam, it will cut them off. Saves me giving them a few choice words too.
