Just been called by this number. Very unprofessional asking if I have life insurance with Aviva or Legal and Genreal. Claimed to be from Aviva, but couldn t tell me why he was asking. Hung up on him.

Unsolicited cold call-when rang back "please stay on the line you call is important to us"-yep, I put the phone down and blocked the number.

1 call from this. no. on 27/1/15, ignored it. 2 further calls on 28/1/15, ignored them. A call this am 29/1/15 - I answered. An Indian voice, named James !, confirmed my details claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asked if I was still getting unwanted calls. I confirmed that I still get these and he informed me that I needed to update my details with them as it was about to expire. He then asked if I paid by direct debit - at this point I realised this to be a scam and ended the call.
