SCAM This is someone claiming to be someone from sky saying the router speed in my area was being checked and the engineers were making changes to speed it up. He asked me to install a support app on my phone so he could check and make changes. At no point did he use my name or go through any kind of ID process. This is a scam. BEWARE I called sky who confirmed they do not make calls like this.

Received a text from this number: “Our driver Simon attempted to deliver your shipment today but no one was home. To reshedule a new delivery date, visit:”. I didn’t order anything, plus the URL link wasn’t working, and there’s a typo in the text too so I assume it’s a scam.

I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything.
