All these calls from different numbers seem to come from the same location. Whatever you say to them I presume they are selling your number to telemarketers as having completed a survey and no matter what you have said a telemarketer soon calls a says something like "in response to your survey"

I get several calls a day and no one speaks

Called - very annoying as ring off when you answer- no idea how they got my (very private) number as only 4 people have it!!Do not answer- do not call them back and waste your money.

I have 3 calls already to day(it’s now 2pm). A foreign sounding man claiming to be from Open Reach wanting to check my internet connection. I have hung up each time.

Telemarketing

Company claiming they had my details from an accident I had had and got stroppy when I kept telling them they had wrong number. Tried to claim it was right number so must be someone else in my "household" who had reported an accident. The number is a business phone solely for my use so they were just talking rubbish.

One time these jokers had my full name - which I did not confirm. Be wary.

They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

This Indian sounding gentleman says he works for the Ministry of Justice in London & is the senior accounts manager working with a company called money saving expert to recover PPI insurances on loans & mortgages. For an up front cash fee(?290 or ?615) payable via Western Union, to India, he will arrange transfer of funds to you which amount to 10 s of thousands of pounds. Once the cash fee is paid another Indian sounding gentleman phones to get the Western Union transfer number(MCTN)& tells you everything

I initially ignored their calls but I am glad I answered a call in the end. They helped me locate an old workplace pension that I had two decades ago. I hadn t given the pension much thought since I left the job. I couldn t of afforded hundreds of pounds to pay a financial advisor so they really helped me out. I do understand people being annoyed about the cold calling though.
