called at 1.50pm Saturday 3 June, but they hung up when the phone was answered.

They say they are from bt then virgin media then they put me on hold when I tell them I have a virgin tech here just put the phone down as they are only out for your details stay safe

A recorded message saying they are my internet provider and are going to disconnect me. Sounds like a scam as they they should have the name of my provider.

My call makes it 12. When answered no reply and no background noise. So wonder who it was ?

Same experience as many of you - Called today by 01206 688002 - soon as I answered my mobile they hung up. I won t be calling them back.

Just had call from them. Again hung up when I answered. So tempted to do the same to them repeatedly and therefore block their line in.

They called me and they said that they was calling from Microsoft Windows Security about a problem with my pc. I don t have any problem and I didn t ask any assistence. So I think it is a scam.
