Automated call saying from bank. Suspicious activity on bank card/credit card. Checked online and does say fraud team do automated calls but then will phone or text you… I just don’t press any buttons on phone as you never no.. phoned fraud line to check.. guess what it wasn’t them.

Same area as a number of 078 prefixed numbers, multiple phones obviously.
SCAM. FRAUD. Be very alert. When asked what CITY they are in, they said Merseyside in St Helens. I had no idea 0161 belongs to that area. Always thought it belongs to the Manchester District.

The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Scam - offered to come and do free security check and install cameras to elderly resident, he didnt sign anything, they took his information and charged him for the free consultation, and installation of 8 camera (non installed or agreed too). Money was taken from account, and his number was blocked, even address of card left isnt for this company, but a empty lot in Dewsbury, when number called and asked about this elderly resident, they block your number too after using some blue language.Fraud SCAM

Received an automated call from this number purporting to represent my credit card (no name mentioned, no bank name mentioned) saying that it had been used twice, once on Amazon, and for a foreign currency transaction. Press 1 for security, 2 for customer services. SUSPECT FRAUD!!
Automated voice says this is a bank alert, there have been two charges on your card , it then gives the details of the ‘transactions’ one supposedly for £200+ on Amazon, the other a bank transfer for over £1000. Then asked to press one or two depending on whether you have made these payments or not.
