This 4th time I have a call from this number. A man voice saud us calling from Vanquis credit card. He wanted me to confirm my name for security reasons. I said why would vanquis want to call me cant the write and how would I know its Vanquis. He the said if I say my email he will say my dob and I say my post code and he will say my home number. So I told him I do not trust people on the phone asking private information abd he just cut me off without explaining the reason or if they are going to write me .

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 118328xxxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don'

Same story as many others. "You'll be delighted to know you've won a free holiday" - but you haven't (of course). If you stay on the line you'll get directed to someone else who will eventually (after sugar coating this) make you understand you have to attend a meeting (somewhere in London). I have never been, and suspected from this point onwards that this was a timeshare scam. I gave up. The "free" bit was getting up to £1000 off a holiday - but that gets massively discounted if

From somewhere in Russia. A well-spoken English voice telling me £800 had been put on my card for an online gambling site in America. To contact their fraud department press !. No chance!

call centre accident claims again this company must have called me about 56 times now same company just different numbers. told at least 20 of them to take my number off still havent

Jim Bourne called - Asked to call to speak with our directors, they would know who Jim was, wouldn't tell me where he was calling from but that they would know him, he's spoken with them before, I asked if I could take a message he advised they knew was it was regarding so he would email them. He does not have their email address. We have had the Steven King one before, may be the same person or maybe they just employ obnoxious people?
