I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.

Fraud A well spoken man allegedly called "John" saying he understood I was the the homeowner which I declined to answer and started banging on about solar panels. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Like many other reports I am TPS registered, so if a genuine company they are breaking the law. If a scam, as I suspect it is, of course also illegal. Have NOTHING to do with this number and "company" !!

He is blackmailing me now by threatening to post our private video that he got during our meet up in hotel. He said he will post on social site if I will not follow what he want. I assume this was a phishing attempt as the automatic message claimed to be from "my bank" (no specific bank mentioned) warning me of an Amazon debit and a large international transfer. Press 1 to speak to an "advisor".

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.
