Text Message from Evri saying I have a parcel with £1.45 postage to pay, and a link to a Web address. I checked the app and nothing there. So Another SCAM !!!

Claimed they were calling from my bank but never told me which bank. Their claim was my account had been scammed with two transactions for large amounts over £1000,00 and they needed to authorise the payments.

Bit of digging on Linkedin etc confirm this and that is it a cover for many businesses including call centres. Tells you all you need to know.

This a number scammers give you to call for bank fraud. stated was a legal copany wanting to deal with personal injury claim. Hadd loads of details about accident. Told caller that already in hands of solicitors and broke off conversation. Wonder where they get the information from?

Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.
