Pressing 9 does not remove number from the call list, pressed 5 instead to speak to an operator (Scott) who promptly put the phone down when I politely tried to have my number removed, redialing the number gets you a recorded message stating the call was sales related and nothing to worry about!

Purported to be BT. Had questions about my computer. Suspect it was a fraudster attempting to get bank details. They rang off when I refused to answer a simple question.
SCAM - Claimed to be calling from The Insulation Advisory Board in Reading - it doesn't exist. Stated that insulation installed under previous 'Green Scheme' needed checking for damp every 4 years and they would arrange to do it for Free!! Mildly irritating and worrying for the unworldly. Declined to give details and they rang off.
since I posted my comment on 22 April, I see lots of you have had calls, but I haven t had any more. Maybe they persist with one area for a while then move on. I did have the calls regularly for weeks before I posted here. So maybe it will quieten for the rest of you soon, particularly K.Harris. So sorry you have been pestered like this.

Somehow they have managed to get money from me twice in two nights, one being a 3hr call at 22.57 costing 44.85 and another for at 01.57 for a 1hr call at 23.35!!!! Raging how can this be!! This number called several times but left no message. As it was a local number I called back. It went straight to a recorded message & said I had been called by the NHS & would call back within 24 hrs. This is not an NHS number! My family are not under any hospitals or GPs for anything at this moment or indeed in several years. Other sites have this number reported as being untrustworthy.

Housing disrepair team, seems like a scam and they keep badgering me despite me asking them to take me off their database.
SCAM!!!! Called me about my Virgin Media internet (I don't have Virgin Media BTW). She asked if she was talking to the account holder. Told her that for security purposes I wanted her to give me a small part of the name or address to make sure it wasn't a scam (which I already knew it was) And she hung up without even saying goodbye! Some scammers are just so damn rude these days! :-)
