Kept going on about special deals, he was obviously going off his own script because it made no sense. Very fishy number. They called me but the person on the phone was a recorded message telling me to call them back. It also said if I disregarded the message I could face legal consequences. Surely, if it was that serious, a real person would be talking to me and not some recorded message. Based on the other review of that number, I won’t be called back.

SCAM Called me at around 1100 hrs (Tue) on 27.7.2021 on my UK landline. Pre-recorded message read out by a lady, claiming that there has been some illegal activity going on with my internet, unless I contact them (e.g. by pressing '1' for .....'2' for .....) immediately, my internet will be shut down within the next 24-48 hrs. I just hanged up.
